Excerpts
We arrive in Padua.

We disembarked from the bus at Prato della Vella.

The statues lining the large square depict famous citizens of Padua. I confess I thought one was a medieval neurosurgeon, but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong.

Among other things, Padua is the setting for Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.

The Basilica of St. Anthony

Statue of Venetian general Gattamelata by Donatello.

I'm the one in the white hat on the right.

From Padua, we continued on to Bologna.
